The architectural trend toward clean lines, open spaces, strong angles
and natural materials provides the ideal context for artists driving
the next evolution in the African sculpture movement.
We're focused on this most-current contemporary work
and on placing it in the most exceptional settings.
Zuva Gallery: New for 2020
As premier gallerists and importers for over 20 years, we bring decades of experience, a vast network of connections and a wealth of expertise to the task of bringing exceptional Zimbabwean stone sculpture to the US.
Over these many years we have built deep and longstanding relationships with some of Zimbabwe’s most talented first and second generation stone sculptors—well known masters with works in major collections around the world. We’re also among the many art patrons who are actively supporting the up and coming artists forming the next wave of the Shona sculpture movement.
We’ve also been blessed to be at the center of a community of collectors and enthusiasts who have relied on us over the years to bring these exceptional pieces into homes and landscapes across the country and around the world..
This newest presentation of the Zuva Gallery brand will serve as a showcase for hand selected capsule collections of masterworks from some of our closest longtime artist friends as well as a launch pad for some promising new, emerging talent. We’ll be importing and presenting works by individual artists and also representing others on a “virtual consignment” basis.
Our brick-and-mortar gallery years are behind us, but our vast well of experience and expertise and all of those most meaningful relationships remain, as does our commitment to support this most important art form and those who practice it at the highest level.
As always, if you like what you see, please be in touch.
