Eckel Nyamhondoro

Born in Guruve in 1972, Eckel began sculpting as a child under the mentorship of his relatives. He later joined the Tengenenge art community where he worked for nearly a decade. His work is imbued with folklore and traditional Shona culture. He has exhibited in Canada and Germany and his work stands in numerous private collections throughout Europe and North America.
