About the Artist

Euwit Nyanhongo

Euwit comes from a family of sculptors and is the son of Claude Nyanhongo who helped pioneer the modern sculpture movement in Zimbabwe. Euwit hails from Nyanga in Zimbabwe’s mountainous eastern highlands and his sculpture often pays tribute to the specific culture and traditions of this region. He has exhibited internationally for decades and his work stands in important private collections in Australia, Europe and North America.
