Biography

Penelope Brent Stutterheim is a recognized South African artist who lives in Cape Town. She is largely self-taught and works primarily in oils. Her inspiration is derived from the spectacular landscapes and industrial scenes in the Cape. Known for her deft blend of colors, Penelope's work has become even more minimalist in recent years.

She has exhibited widely in South Africa and her work stands in private and public collections in Asia, America and Europe.
